Certifications – French
DELF-DALF
Created by the International Center of Pedagogical Studies (CIEP), they are proposed in over 160 countries and rely on a network of over 1000 examination centers all over the world.
Without a deadline, adapted to the language skills defined in the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages, they represent a tool able to valorize individual academic paths and they facilitate student and professional mobility.
FORMAT OF THE DELF-DALF DIPLOMAS:
The reform of 2005, which simplified the law existing since 1985, allowed to give an answer to a need of readability and transparency of the French language certifications. Nowadays there are 6 different diplomas:
4 Diplomas of French language studies: DELF A1, DELF A1, DELF B1, DELF B2
2 Diplomas of deepened French language: DALF C1, DALF C2

DIFFERENT VERSIONS ACCORDING TO THE AGE OF THE STUDENTS
Different versions are available, according to the age of the students. The structure and the validity of the tests "tous publics" and "scolaire" are the same: only the content is different, the documents chosen for the "scolaires" sessions are appropriate for the interest centers of the young public they are directed to.

With a playful and illustrated material, the “Prim” DELF can be undertaken by elementary school children of age between 8 and 12. The subjects are appropriate to their centers of interest.

The "Pro" DELF is the professional version of the DELF diplomas for certifying the French language in working environments. The subjects are appropriate for the professional world. DELF Pro evaluates the communicational skills in common situations of the working environments.
