Call for Papers
The XVIII AICLU Seminar entitled “European Projects in Language Centres: Creativity, Dynamics, Best Practice” will be organized by the Language Centre of the University of Calabria and will be held from 4 to 6 October 2012.
The main topics of the Seminar will include:
• The implementation of a European (or national/international) project: creation, methodology, stages of development, products, dissemination;
• Creativity and technology in language teaching;
• Multiculturalism and multilingualism enhanced by projects;
• Projects for language learning for special purposes;
• Projects and methodologies: self study, self-evaluation, CLIL;
• Projects for the training of teachers, trainers and students.
Abstract submission
If you have completed a project or have one in progress at the University Language Centre and want to present it, submit an abstract (max. 300 words) in Italian or English, German, French, Spanish. The language used in the abstract will be considered the language of presentation during the Seminar. Send your abstract to the following link http://cla.unical.it/seminarioAICLU within June 16th, 2012. You will receive an answer of acceptance within July 15th, 2012.
Prize
During the Seminar there will be a friendly competition to reward the three best projects which will be voted on by the participants.
AICLUCert
A workshop will be dedicated to the AICLUCert Project.
The Conference Venue
The Seminar will be held at the Language Centre and University Club of the University of Calabria. Information about accommodation and costs will be provided soon.
Free Time
An excursion will be planned to a location on the Mediterranean coast.
