About the Campus
The University of Calabria is a relatively young institution, established in 1972. It is situated in Southern Italy, specifically in Arcavacata di Rende, province of Cosenza. Its lively campus, the first and largest in Italy, makes our University a pleasant place to live and work.
Since its very beginning, the University of Calabria has clearly set out the strategies for the development of its international dimension. In the past twenty years, many bilateral agreements have been established by the University of Calabria with European and other foreign universities. These agreements promote cooperation in the fields of research and didactic activities, encouraging the integration of international and national cultures, traditions and expertise.
The XIV CercleS International Conference is one more example of our mission to promote interaction and cooperation on an International level.
We do hope you have a pleasant stay on campus.
