How to reach the Campus

Information for your transfer from Lamezia Airport to the Campus

There will be two shuttle buses at Lamezia Airport on Wednesday Sept 21, at 5 p.m. and at 11.15 p.m. in front of the airport (parking lot, Lamezia Terme is a small airport). The shuttle buses will have the sign “CercleS Conference” mentioned on the windscreen.

At the Airport, there will be two members of our staff to welcome you.

For those of you who arrive at a different time or would prefer other options, you can contact us choosing among the information below:

  • Bus “Navetta al Volo” (www.al-volo.net): booking through our agency by 19 September 2016. The departures of shuttle bus are in front of the airport. Prices:
    • € 30,00 for passenger (if the total number is between 1 and 4)
    • € 24,00 for passenger (if the total number is between 5 and 10)
    • € 22,00 for passenger (if the total number is between 11 and 14)
    • € 20,00 for passenger (if the total number is between 15 and 19)
  • Private cab: booking through our agency by 19 September 2016. The departures are in front of the airport. Prices:
    • € 75,00 for 1 passenger
    • € 105,00 total for 3 passenger (€ 35 for passenger)
    • € 125,00 total for 7 passenger (€ 17,85 for passenger)

However, be aware of the following:
There are several buses running during the day, the buses stop in front of the airport (parking lot). Some buses take you directly on Campus, some stop in front of the Hotel Fattoria Stocchi where many of you will be staying. If you get off at this stop, three other hotels (Ariha, Marconi, Mayorana) will be at a very short walking distance. Some buses stop in the town nearby, Cosenza.

By Plane

The nearest air terminal is LameziaTerme airport, also called Sant’Eufemia. You can reach the main city, Cosenza, or Rende by public buses or private shuttle buses. Please check the information on the airport website: www.lameziaairport.it.

By Train

The nearest train station to the university campus is Castiglione Castiglione, which is connected to the main station in Paola . The train station in Paola is connected to major Italian cities by inter-city, Eurostar and FrecciaRossa/FrecciaArgento (high speed) trains.
Once you get to Paola, take a train to Castiglione Cosentino (final destination Cosenza), it's only an 18 min. ride.

 

By Coach

There are daily connections from Rome (Stazione Tiburtina) to Rende/Cosenza (Stazione Autolinee). For more information, please visit:

 

By Car

The most important road connection to Rende/Cosenza is the“A-3” motorway (Salerno - Reggio Calabria). The university area is located less than 1 Km away from the “Rende- Cosenza Nord” exit.
